Bank Indonesia Governor, Burhanuddin Abdullah, appointed new heads of Bank Indonesia Directorates and Bureaus in Bank Indonesia Head Office today (25/7). Burhanuddin stressed that the appointment of officials was a routine process in an organization. However, it had an important and strategic meaning since it is a part in the continuity process of the duties, functions, and responsibilities in Bank Indonesia work units. “We are components of a big machine called Bank Indonesia. As such, we have our own roles and functions to make the machine work. Therefore, each time there is a transfer from one part to another, it would only be an opportunity for us to optimize our roles and make the machine work even better,” explained Burhanuddin in his remarks.
