TEN CENTURIES OF THE HISTORY OF THE ARABIC WORD IN THE DOHA HISTORICAL DICTIONARY

The Doha Historical Dictionary Gateway to the Arabic Language has begun publishing lexical materials that span the history of their use over ten centuries, from the oldest documented linguistic text until the year 500 AH. The dictionary displays, for example, the subject of the root (GBR) with all its derivatives used in Arabic texts with the oldest history of each of its words coupled with its first meaning, tracing the transformations that occurred in it in its meanings according to its historical arrangement, observing the emergence of the terminological use in sciences
